INDIANAPOLIS at DENVER |
|
-- the dynamic here might have been a little different if Denver was still blanketed with the effects of the blizzard from earlier in the week, but the elements won't likely be a factor here, with mostly sunny skies and temperatures in the 60s. That's pretty good news for Peyton Manning, who has thrown just two interceptions in over 200 attempts! This is easily the biggest challenge for Denver's defense, which has surrendered only two touchdowns all year. But with Jake Plummer (52%, 7 INT's) misfiring, the Broncos have posted just over 13 ppg. Would lean toward more reliable Colts offense here, and bank on Dwight Freeney, who has second-string tackle Eric Pears to deal with (LT Matt Lepsis is out for the year) getting pressure on Plummer, with Anthony McFarland continuing to help Indy's stop unit compete against the run.
