Criticism of Carthon was justified, as Cleveland has weapons to go to, including tight end Kellen Winslow, wide receiver Braylon Edwards and running back Reuben Droughns, who has been a thousand-yard rusher, and a QB with the ability to improvise in Charlie Frye, but haven't put up enough points. The Jets, like the Browns, literally invite the opposition to run the ball (4.5 ypc allowed). They have played eleven straight games over the total, and now they feel they have a back they can rely on in Leon Washington (129 yards vs. Detroit).
