HOUSTON at TENNESSEE

-- The Titans have played well the last couple of games, and have had a bye week with which to further integrate Vince Young into the pro offense. But Young is going to be a work-in-progress for quite some time. He's turned the ball over seven times already (including four fumbles), and he'll continue to make mistakes. We much prefer Houston's more polished David Carr (71%, just 4 INT's), who is the NFL's second-rated passer in terms of the efficiency rankings. His receiver combo of Andre Johnson (leads league in catches) and Eric Moulds is far better than anything Tennessee has to offer. If Wali Lundy can turn in another solid performance (93 yards rushing vs. Jaguars), Carr will have some balance to work with. And as bad as the Texans' defense has played, the Titans are just as bad in almost every category (Houston 4.8 ypc allowed, Tennessee 4.7; Houston 66% completions allowed, Tennessee 65.3%; Houston 11 sacks, Tennessee just eight). It's been three years since Titans have been able to win back-to-back games.
