BALTIMORE at NEW ORLEANS

-- We certainly respect the Ravens' defense (19 sacks, 2.7 ypc allowed). But New Orleans has some of the offensive components that are going to work against almost any defense - the heady and consistent QB in Drew Brees (67%, 7.3 yards an attempt); the pure speed of Reggie Bush (38 catches already), and a resurgent Deuce McAllister (4.9 yds/carry). It's a credit to coach of the year candidate Sean Payton that he's been able to integrate both McAllister and Bush so well into the offense. The Superdome crowd has given this team a boost in three straight home wins, two of which were against playoff contenders. And the Ravens look like they have some stale parts on the offensive side of the ball, like Steve McNair (7 INT's, just 5 TD's, and only 5.4 yards an attempt) and Jamal Lewis (3.6 ypc, one TD). With Brian Billick taking over the offense in an effort to save his job, can't see anything but more problems here. Things may get worse before they get better.
