But road romps over weak sisters Oakland and San Francisco showed us little, and Rivers was shut down in visit to Baltimore. Kansas City comes out an angry bunch, having been blown out in Pittsburgh last week. And the way the NFL works, these teams come back with pride after that kind of embarrassment. Expect that intensity to come out on the defensive end, where the Chiefs were rated fourth overall in the league before the debacle with the Steelers. But until Damon Huard can prove himself to be a threat to throw the ball downfield, opponents are going to stack things up against Larry Johnson, who is averaging just 3.4 ypc this year and is playing in pain.
