-- It's getting to the point where one might understand if Kansas didn't believe in itself, as the Jayhawks just haven't put together a whole game of football in a while. Losing a lead at Baylor last week doesn't help confidence. But maybe getting back to Lawrence will do the trick - Kansas has covered 10 of its last 14 games there, and Colorado may be in worse shape, despite the Buffs getting on the "board" with a win over Texas Tech a couple of weeks ago. Colorado QB Bernard Jackson is just not a fit for this system - his 47% accuracy, 751 passing and 5.4 yards an attempt are nothing to be scared of. And so Colorado loses an opportunity to exploit Kansas' biggest weakness, which is in the secondary. Meanwhile, the Jayhawks have the better QB in Kerry Meier, and the top offensive weapon on the field in Joe Cornish (961 yards rushing). In closely-lined game, just can't roll with a team that has scored just one straight-up win in last 12 games.
