WISCONSIN at MICHIGAN

WISCONSIN (+13.5) at MICHIGAN -- This has often been a pointspread trap for Michigan, which has dropped the last four in this series, at least against the number. Wisconsin is getting meaningful yards in its ground attack from P.J. Hill (5.9 ypc), and its trademark elephant-sized offensive line. Fifth-year senior QB John Stocco has given the Badgers - and first-year head coach Bret Bielema - steady leadership. Stocco's been sacked just one time, and why not, when you're being protected by Joe Thomas, the best left tackle in college football. if the Michigan pass rush is mitigated, that allows Stocco to open things up, which has been the plan of Bielema and his staff from the start. So there are some things Michigan hasn't been able to scout thus far. Certainly there is a revenge motive for Michigan, as they lost last year's Big Ten lidlifter to Wisconsin. And the Badger defense (8 ppg allowed) hasn't encountered this big a test. But the last five games in this series have been decided by seven points or less. And the Wolverines are not often the play laying points at home, with a 3-11 ATS record last 14 games in Ann Arbor.
