-- The Hoosiers were blown out by Ohio State last week. Well, who hasn't? There's got to be a lot of hangover from Michigan State's massive comeback against Northwestern, in which they were down 38-3 but pulled out a 41-38 win. Of course, that wasn't a cover, and can't mask the attrition on MSU's offensive and defensive lines, which have been hit with injuries. QB Drew Stanton suffered more hurts as well, this time to his shoulder and wrist, and it is questionable as to how he'll bounce back. The Spartans don't have a pass rush (8 sacks). And Indiana QB Kellen Lewis has the ability to scramble and make some plays. Some of those will be to his outstanding receiver, 6'5" James Hardy (27 catches, 4 TD's). IU's been playing hard since the return of coach Terry Hoeppner (brain surgery). And they were good enough to beat Iowa a couple of weeks ago. They'll do enough to keep this within the number.
